The Town of Bridgewater is served by the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department and the Bridgewater Fast Squad. 

The fire department has over 20 active members that meet regularly to train and to stay compliant with State and Federal Regulations.  The department has recently formed an Auxilary.  If interesed in participating, please contact Fire Chief, Ed Earle at 672-5032. 

The Fast Squad has approx. 8 volunteer members that are trained and certified to respond to medical emergencies and needs.

The Town of Bridgewater also contracts with the Woodstock Ambulance Department for ambulance service.  Patients requiring ambulance service are generally taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, VT or Windsor Hospital in Windsor, VT.
